Children are worse than dogs, much much worse. Both are undeniably destructive, but a dog is fluffy and because of that it can be forgiven immediately.
A child will just grow older, abuse your trust, take your money and treat you like dirt. I know this because I was once a teenager and did all three of those things to my Mum.
Also, a dog can be slung over your shoulder like some sort of excitable homing missile that only targets toddlers.
This one child though, he's reached all new levels of shithousery after destroying a $15,000 LEGO structure at an exhibition.

According to Mashable, the yout in question pushed over a giant statue of Nick from Zootopia on Sunday at the LEGO Expo in Ningbo, China.
It was the first day of the exhibition and it had been open to the public for no longer than an hour before the incident occurred.

The artist spent over three days putting the thing together and the parents were very apologetic over the whole mishap.
Your apologies can't give the artist his 72 hours of wasted time back though can they? No, they can't.
The LEGO figurine is said to cost more than 100,000 yuan ($15,170).

The artist, Zhao declined compensation as he insisted the child had not meant to break the figurine.
Now the boy will never learn his lesson. Next he'll be 'accidentally' destroying national landmarks because no-one advised him against it.
