Sunday's episode of Family Guy, 'Bookie of the Year', parodied that infamous elevator fight between Solange Knowles and Jay Z featuring the dimwitted and innocent Peter Griffin as a passenger.
Although the incident occurred back in 2014, it coincides with the release of Solange's latest album, 'A Seat At The Table'. Plus, an episode of Family Guy takes nine months to produce. Cut the lads some slack.

In the cutaway gag, Peter enters an elevator with Solange, Beyonce, Jay Z and a bodyguard. "Hey could you get the guy to hit 'two'?" Peter asks. "I gotta get down to the business centre to print out my boarding pass."

When Solange lunges at Jay Z, he remarks: "Oh! Hey! That's gonna leave a mark. Ha, that's from a movie.

Family Guy is now in its 15th season.
