Man's House Turned Into A 'Pokémon Go' Gym Resulting In Lots Of Unwanted Visitors

Bloke worried his place would "look like a dealer’s house".

An American lad had the shock of his life when loads of Pokémon Go players started turning up at his house.

The thing is, Boon Sheridan's house is a converted old church. However, it looks like the Pokémon Go team have been using an old map to identify different public areas that people can use as gyms.

That means that he has had randoms turning up at all hours and lingering outside his house in Holyoke, Massachusetts, while they train before then leaving again.

He took to Twitter to describe how much of a pain in the arse it is.

Luckily, he seems like a pretty chill guy and has been chatting to different players and generally being a pretty good sport about the whole thing. I don't think I'd be as nice as he is being if people were trampling all over my petunias.

Sadly, at this moment in time you can't get certain locations removed from the app unless they present 'immediate physical danger'. Any other reasons 'cannot be addressed at this time'. So he may as well get a laugh or two (and maybe some new mates) out of it.

Legend.
