The biggest decision that Britain is likely to make for a long time is imminent, and it is to be made by us.
Whatever your stand point on the EU referendum, whether it be remain or leave, you're part of two groups of people - those who know exactly what's going on, and well, those who frankly, don't.

Given that I am a part of a group of friends whose teenage years were better spent in a park drinking Frosty Jacks, rather than paying attention to more important things, I was sure that asking them their opinions would throw up some funny comments.
One mate, whom I've known for the better part of 16 years, was worried by the possibility of Britain losing certain foreign foods, after a picture of Magic Stars went viral.
Another friend, who hails from Guyana, South America, but legally lives in this country, was concerned that he might be deported if we left the EU.

He said: "If we leave does that mean me and the fam have to go home? 'Cause I can't do that. My life is here."
In short, the answer was no.
The best results of these conversations tend to come down the pub after a few pints. Not long back, on the bad side of a few too many lagers, we landed on the topic of terrorism.
One slightly intoxicated friend said: "If we stay, does that make it easier for ISIS to get us? They got France 'n that."

It didn't take long for a few of us to explain that whether we remain or leave, Britain stays in exactly the same location. It doesn't pack it's bags, hop on it's bike and fuck off.
It's not just friends that chuck up comical quips, the world of social media gives us access to many less-informed folk. Recently, an older person posted in a local gossip page on Facebook, which I shamelessly follow for the sole purpose of banter.
Basically, they don't understand immigration, the impact of leaving the EU, and think that the solution to immigration in this country is to increase it in another.

Similar to the above, an old friend of mine received a message from someone who, well, really didn't have a clue what they were talking about.
