Guy Runs Away From Cameras At Grand National

This is amazing

The Grand National is one of the highlights of the sporting calendar, turning half of the country into horse racing experts who did or nearly bet on the winner. But this moment of utter TV gold is the best Grand National moment in history.

This year the Grand National has gone the way of the FA Cup by being moved to a 5.15 start just to suit the TV cameras, although none of us at home have once complained about the previous start time.

The National and the week leading up to it are always a bit special because of the TV coverage they get, especially on Ladies Day, which is the Friday of the meet, with the cameras trying to find the best dressed woman around. Or the one who has drank the most and is falling over.

Last year as BBC News were talking to one such lady one of their pundits, Luke Harvey, could be seen sneaking off screen before being seen again moments later legging it away from the interview:

Before making his dash, Harvey said: "We've got good horses but it's more relaxed, it's more fun. It's my favourite meeting of the year." So relaxed he forgot that he was doing it would seem, because explaining his hilarious but embarrassing exit, he said that at the time he was on TV, he was due to appear on BBC's Five Live radio show just a few minutes later.

Of course one his colleagues took to Twitter to take the mick out of him:

If you've got money on a horse today and he bolts as quick as Luke then you'll do pretty well.

Who's your money on today?
