This is very much a "you had one job" kinda moment.
Some genius over at a new branch of Lidl managed to make up a pretend date on a sign.
I understand the bigger the print, the more scrupulous the copy, the larger the pressure - but c'mon on.

I can pass a letter mix-up. However, a date called the 'thirth'? Not so much.

A picture of the gaffe was uploaded to Reddit, much to the amusement of others.

Some did defend the mistake, though, with one saying: "Former corporate communications lackey here. Guaranteed this is the work of a one-person "department" of design, marketing, communications, minute-taking and coffee-running who had the opening date changed on her/him so much that the words on the poster lost all meaning, thereby diminishing the ability to see even the most obvious of errors. Thanks, corporate efficiency."
What everyone seems to be forgetting is that Lidl itself has misspelled 'little'. Unbelievable. That's 2016, for you.
