This Little Lad Went As The Argos Catalogue To World Book Day

Perfect.

Today is World Book Day - you might have noticed because all your friends who have kids are uploading photos of their little ones dressed as characters you've never heard of because you're not a child and don't read books for kids.

One book you will definitely have heard of though is the Argos catalogue. Ah, many a happy childhood day spent circling stuff I wanted (is my mum ever going to buy me a Mr Frosty ice crusher?) and drawing devil horns and moustaches on the models.

This little lad is totally on my wavelength, when his mum, Vicki Bowles, asked him what character he wanted to be and insisted that he wanted to go as an Argos catalogue because it was his 'favourite book'. Fair play to that.

Vicki told the Sun: "He loves reading it and telling me what toys he wants. The reaction has been amazing - [we] got stopped by so many people on the way to school."

Vicky also tweeted the detailed costume to the retail giant who told her that it was 'amazing'. He has done a good job, hasn't he?

Strangely, he's not the first little lad to go to World Book Day as the Laminated Book of Dreams.

Remember these two from last year?

Although, this wasn't a case of the kids choosing to be the catalogue, it was just an ace last-minute idea from their dad, comedian Joe Heenan, who took to Twitter to share the snap and quickly went viral.

He's managed to outdo himself this year, dressing his little boy up as top dickhead Francis Begbie from Trainspotting.

Would absolutely love to see the look on his teacher's face when he rocks up like this.
