Over the Easter weekend, Richard Osman hosted his annual World Cup of Crisps on Twitter. What is that you ask, well it's exactly that it sounds like. There were six groups of six crisps and users had to vote on their favourite crisps in each group via a Twitter poll. In the end pickled onion Monster Munch came out on top after they muscled out Wotsits in the grand final.
Out of the 48 crisps entered, Roysters T Bone Steak placed at a woeful number 40, which shows you can never leave anything to public vote as the vast majority cannot be trusted.

Still, that was then and this is now. We have now The World Cup Of Arseholes via Jason Spacey on Twitter and boy were there some divisive names in there. TWCOA followed the traditional format of eight groups of four and included many "characters", ranging from the likes of Sir Nigel Farage to Jeremy Hunt and David Cameron, who was actually eliminated in the group stages.
After a hotly contested second round that saw the aforementioned Jeremy Hunt just edge Donald Trump, and Katie Hopkins (82%) run rings around Theresa May (18%) we arrived at the quarter-finals.
They lined up like this:

QF 1- Rupert Murdoch (54%) vs Jeremy Hunt (46%)
QF2- George Osbourne (45%) vs Katie Hopkins (55%)
QF3- Sepp Blatter (46%) vs Boris Johnson (54%)

QF4- Iain Duncan Smith (43%) vs Michael Gove (57%)
No overwhelming winners there, almost like none of them are particularly well celebrated people...
Semi-finals:
SF 1- Rupert Murdoch (76%) vs Boris Johnson (24%)

SF2- Michael Gove (39%) vs Katie Hopkins (61%)
In the least surprising news ever, Katie Hopkins made it to the final against Rupert Murdoch.
Fun fact: When Karl Pilkington was once asked what he thinks Rupert Murdoch would look like naked he replied: "Like a turtle without a shell."
The final:
Rupert Murdoch (56%) vs Katie Hopkins (44%)

We have a winner, or a loser. Nothing says community in 2016 like thousands of Twitter users coming together to vote on who they hate the most.
