Want to completely overhaul your body in a month without splashing out on a gym membership?

Well, it might be time to perfect your sit-up, as one bloke was able to do just that in 30 days.

In a video titled 'Will 100 Sit-ups Every Day a Sixpack?' YouTube creator Browney gathered three guys with differing experience when it came to fitness with the goal to see if taking part in the extreme sit-up challenge actually makes a difference to your body.

His three participants were Enzo, a complete beginner, Jorg, described as your average 'gym bro' and Arjen, an exercise whizz. Their mission? Pretty simple, complete 100 sit-ups everyday.

However, like most things in life, the challenge was easier said than done.

So what happened?

It didn't take long for the differing fitness levels between the three men to become apparent, with Enzo appearing to visibly struggle with the challenge.

Fast forward to the second day of the challenge and Enzo was already having difficulties in reaching his 100 sit-up quota, telling the camera that his stomach 'really hurts' after just one. By day three, he couldn't sleep due to the muscle pain.

However this ultimately didn't faze him, as he was committed to building a solid pair of abs.

Enzo wasn't the only one who struggled either, with gym bro Jorg also noted having issues with the challenge.

Meanwhile Arjen wasn't fazed by the challenge, even joking that he thought the challenge was getting 'easier and easier' as the days passed.

By day 12 and Enzo was finally over the worst of the pain and finding it easier to complete the 100 sit-ups, while Jorg had no soreness by day 13.

The group met up to measure their progress at the halfway mark, with each of the three men seeing noticeable changes to their body.

Which is just proof that putting yourself through gruelling exercise will make a drastic change to your body.

Although it's probably not something which is recommended.

By day 20 and all three men were able to complete their mandatory 100 sit-ups with ease, even going as fair as to say they didn't feel as though they were making much progress by completing the exercise.

Visible ab muscles wasn't the only benefit of the challenge, with Arjen and Jorg revealing that they'd been motivated to adapt other healthy lifestyle habits.

The fitness bug had even reached Enzo, who was now rejecting offers of getting fast food with friends in order to maximise his final result.

PEOPLE ARE BEGINNING ‘LIFE CHANGING’ FITNESS CHALLENGE FOR THE NEW YEAR

By day 30 and the group were finally done with their challenge, which meant it was time to measure their transformation.

All three men finished the challenge with visible definition to their body, with Enzo gaining just over half a kilogram in muscle and losing a 1cm from his stomach measurement.

Which proves that you can go from complete exercise beginner to having distinct abs in just 30 days... if you're willing to endure a very sore stomach.
