If you’ve ever looked at your dog sitting beside you while you watch the football and thought they could do better at representing your club, Adidas apparently had the exact same thought.
The sportswear giant has launched a new pet collection, featuring club-inspired football shirts for some of the biggest teams around, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
The collection includes shirts inspired by the new 2026/27 kits so if you’ve already for your own new-season shirt, your dog can now match.
The Adidas pet collection means your dog can now turn up to every game match-day ready as they watch alongside you on the sofa.

Your dog can pick a team too
The collection has arrived at a pretty convenient time, with the new football season about to get underway.
Now, man’s best friend can join them in a miniature version.
Arsenal supporters can get their dog kitted out in the club's familiar red-and-white colours, while Liverpool fans can do the same with their new 80-inspired kit design for their furry friend.
Not forgetting Manchester United either, with its iconic club badge now on a doggy-sized red shirt for four-legged supporters.

There are also options inspired by Real Madrid and Bayern Muenchen, so it's not just Premier League supporters who can get involved.
For those of us whose weekend plans tend to revolve around whichever team we support, this could be a particularly easy way to drag the dog into it.
Your dog might not understand the offside rule, but that doesn't mean they can't look the part on game day as they also get involved with the match rituals.
You can add their favourite player
It gets even better for anyone who has already decided their dog is a fully fledged member of the squad.
The shirts can be personalised so you can add your dog’s own name or nickname.
If you’re particularly committed to the bit, put their favourite player’s name on the back.
Do they jump at the telly every time they see Bark-ayo Saka on the screen? Perhaps they howl with delight whenever Bruno Fur-nandes is on the pitch?
We’re not sure how you’ll explain to your pooch that their shirt has been personalised, but they’re still not part of the starting XI.

It doesn’t stop with shirts
Adidas’ pet collection also includes club-inspired collars and pet carriers, giving you a few more ways to make your dog’s allegiance known when they’re not wearing their shirt.

If you’re going to commit to the family all wearing the same team’s colours, you might as well go all in.
It also means your dog doesn’t have to wait until match day to represent their club.

The whole family can match
There is something undeniably cool about the idea of your dog having a football shirt that matches yours, particularly if you're the sort of household where the football kit comes out every weekend.
You can have your shirt; your partner can have theirs and the kids can get involved too. All while the dog sits in the middle of it all.
Presumably with absolutely no idea why everyone suddenly everyone’s shouting at the telly.
The Adidas pet collection gives football fans another way to include their dogs in something that's already a big part of their weekends.
With personalised shirts available, you can even give them their own player number and name.
For once, the dog might actually be the one member of the family who's properly dressed for kick-off.
