Alton Towers slashes price of its annual pass to just 19p per day

The school summer holidays are fast approaching, and keeping the whole family entertained for six weeks can be exhausting (and expensive).

From trips to the seaside to days out at local attractions, food, petrol and ice cream costs quickly add up.

So, you'll be pleased to hear Alton Towers has slashed the price of its annual pass to just 19p per day in a mega summer sale.

As part of the sale, you can now secure an Alton Towers Annual Pass for just £64 online.

For price comparison, a walk-in day pass for the UK theme park currently costs a whopping £68.

You'll save a serious amount of money with the deal, as you can visit the Staffordshire resort as many times as you like between March to November with rollercoasters including Nemesis Reborn, The Smiler, Oblivion and the new Toxicator.

Rollercoasters aside, the ticket also grants you access to select seasonal events in between, such as the legendary Scarefest.

Offering entry on 339 days of the year, the ticket works out at 19p per eligible day .

As mentioned above, it's best to book tickets online in advance if you're looking to save dosh.

At the time of writing, there are discounts across the Alton Towers site, from day tickets to annual passes.

For instance, the Merlin Essential Pass gives you annual access to over 20 of the top UK attractions including Alton Towers Resort, Warwick Castle and the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

If you really want to splash out, the Merlin Platinum Pass also gives you access to over 20 of the biggest UK attractions 365 days a year with perks including four free Bring a Friend tickets.
