Fire TV Stick owners have been urged to return their old devices by the end of this week.

Amazon recently launched its new Fire TV Stick 4K which boasts super-fast streaming and 4K Ultra HD.

It's been slashed by 58 percent in Amazon's Black Friday sale, and shoppers can get an extra 20 per cent off the discounted price if they trade in their old models - a total saving of 67 percent, bringing the price down from £59.99 to just £19.99.

But beware: the deal ends on Monday December 1, and with the trade-in process taking up to three days shoppers will need to send off their old devices by the end of this week if they want to cash in.

Read on to find out how.

What are the new rules around illegal streaming?

To combat the issue, Amazon recently launched the new Fire TV Stick Select, which does not support IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) services. In turn, this will make it harder to stream content without a subscription.
