Kim Hartnett has opened up about her three nose job operations and how the first one caused severe damage to her nostril.
The Love Island Australia star shared photos from each surgery on her Instagram on 28 March, calling it 'one of the hardest journeys of [her] life over the next three years'.
"I get DMs every week asking about my nose. So here’s the full story," the 30-year-old wrote.
"I’m sharing this in the hope it helps someone think twice and make an informed decision.

"Choosing to undergo elective surgery is not a decision that should ever be taken lightly and I've learned that the hard way. The risks are real."
Kim said her first surgeon was 'well-known across social media, yet I was left in a devastating condition'.

She was left struggling to breathe because one of her nostrils pulled upwards and the other one collapsed.
"After a long and exhausting fight, he agreed to offer me less than a quarter of a refund. In exchange, I was required to sign an NDA stating that I would not speak negatively about him," the content creator added.
Her next procedure, intended as a corrective revision surgery, caused even more issues.
Following the six hour operation, the surgeon discovered extensive internal damage caused by the previous procedure.

Kim said her nose had effectively become 'a mass of scar tissue', with severe swelling.
“You can see from the swelling and the recovery across all of my surgeries just how rough the first surgeon must have been. It's no wonder my entire nose had turned into a ball of scar tissue,” she explained.
Two weeks post-surgery, Kim contracted an infection and her nose became 'extremely red and swollen'.
“I contacted my surgeon immediately and was put on antibiotics, but unfortunately, it was already too late, the infection had taken hold,” she wrote. “It essentially undid everything from the surgery.”

She said that because her cartilage graft was eaten away, she had dents in her nose and it was pulled into different directions, 'ultimately leading to it collapsing'.
Kim thanked Dr Abdülkadir Göksel, 'who specializes in complex revision cases' in Turkey, for rebuilding her entire nose on the third attempt.
“I went into this surgery with realistic expectations. I wasn't chasing perfection. I just wanted something stable, functional, and natural,” she wrote.
“He exceeded every single one of those expectations. I'm genuinely so happy with my result, and for the first time in years, I finally feel like this chapter is behind me.”
