Totally taking away the shame stigma of having a high ‘body count’, the Fokkens sisters have serviced ‘355,000’ men between them over the years.
Martine and Louise Fokkens were born and raised in Amsterdam, were they eventually went on to be known as the ‘oldest window girls in Holland’. Said to be the ‘world’s oldest sex workers’ the twins, the pair retired at 70 after about 50 years in the industry. That end came as Louise admitted her arthritis made some positions ‘too painful’ and Martine cited a drop in business.
During their career, the Fokkens owned their own brothel (as well as a traditional Dutch eatery) and became well known for their trademark thigh-high leather boots. The twins would charge ‘a lot extra’ for anyone who wanted those boots off.

And they offered their fair share of services, with the pair saying many men would simply pay just to talk to them.
Although, Martine told The Sun that this sometimes made her feel like a social worker rather than a sex worker. She said working with her sister in the world of prostitution made it feel ‘less frightening’.
Other more memorable encounters included a self-proclaimed ‘filthy little gnome’ who was apparently ‘shaking with excitement’ just at the thought of his ‘dirty little gnome’ wife appearing before him.
“He looked like he was about to burst into confetti,” Louise said.
Or, there was the time a man tried to dash without paying for their services only he made the mistake of leaving behind his prosthetic leg. The twins decided to lock it away in a cupboard until he eventually came back and paid the fee.
And while the twins may have retired from sex work, and hadn’t heard of the likes of OnlyFans or TikTok, Louise said the ‘instinct is there’. Martine even suggested that their incredible career could be made into a Netflix series that reflects the reality of being a sex worker.

While they retired several years ago, Martine still had one regular who she couldn’t give up. The elderly man was reportedly addicted to his weekly S&M sessions, and she simply ‘couldn’t give him up’.
“He’s been coming to me for so long, it’s like going to church on a Sunday,” she added at the time.
The sisters starred in a 2011 documentary film called Meet The Fokkens, which they hoped would keep them going in royalties through their retirement.
