Maccas just dropped a new Quarter Pounder range, but it won’t be here forever

The Quarter Pounder® is a tried and true classic, but now, for a limited time, McDonald’s is showing off the Quarter Pounder® with an entire new range.

This range is one for not only longtime lovers of the classic burger, but those ready to take a headfirst dive and discover what has made the Quarter Pounder® such a staple of McDonald’s for literal decades.

Firstly, a huge drawcard in the Quarter Pounder® range is the entry of a new contender, making its debut in Australian restaurants – the Quarter Pounder BBQ Bacon & Crispy Onions®. It takes the elements of a classic Quarter Pounder® and flips it on its head, swapping out the usual fresh slivered onions for delicious crispy onions. On top of that, this burger sports delectably tangy BBQ sauce, with added rasher bacon just to really make those punchy flavours hit home.

Bacon, BBQ sauce and crispy onions? It’s a match made in heaven, and now you get it with a Quarter Pounder®. Sounds absolutely brilliant to us!

McDonald’s Quarter Pounder® range this year also heralds the return of a beloved favourite – the Quarter Pounder Deluxe®. You all asked for it, and the legends over at McDonald’s have granted your wishes.

Making a big burger even bigger, the Quarter Pounder® Deluxe elevates the classic, throwing lettuce, tomato, extra cheese and McChicken® sauce into the mix. Available for the first time since Winter 2022, this is one you’re going to want to snap up ASAP.

Of course, the hero – the classic Quarter Pounder® – is still available as part of the range. The specific mix of ketchup, mustard, cheese, onions, pickles and the famous Quarter Pounder® beef patty is nothing short of iconic.

And, for those of us interested in doubling the fun, the Double Quarter Pounder® is also still available as part of the range. It’s exactly what it says on the box – same as a regular Quarter Pounder®, except with twice the beef.
