Forget the presents under the tree, there’s only one thing that really gets us into the festive spirit: Baileys, of course.

Best enjoyed on a cold winter’s night, even the most self-proclaimed Scrooge can’t help but feel all cosy inside after a sip of the Irish tipple.

And in welcome news amid the cost of living crisis, you can now buy a one-litre bottle of Baileys on Amazon for just £13.

Previously coming in at £22, that’s a generous 41% off the original price tag. For price comparison, a standard 70cl bottle of Baileys currently costs £10 on Amazon.

It’s a deal you won’t find anywhere else, as Sainsbury's and Tesco are flogging the bottle for £21.95 and £22.50 respectively.

But you’ll need to hurry, as over 5,000 bottles have sold on Amazon in the last month alone.

One shopper wrote in the reviews section, “I really love Baileys. It's a very gentle drink, lovely and creamy. As far as versatility goes, it must be one of the best. I drink it as it is, over ice, use it in coffee and sometimes, even over decadent tiramisu.”

Another five-star review reads: “I love Baileys. It's gorgeously creamy and warming. This was a Christmas treat and I thoroughly enjoyed every drop.”

As the festive season approaches, it’s worth mentioning that it's not the only popular tipple on offer right now.
