Walkers crisps confirm they’ve axed popular flavour for good

Walkers have dropped some fan favourite flavours from their range.

Walkers crisps has confirmed that they’ve axed a number of popular flavours from their lineup.

While we hope this is the worst news you hear all day, we would also like to send our condolences if your favourite flavour has been axed.

Walkers has provided the nation with their favourite snacks since 1948 and has produced close to 200 different flavours in that time.

According to a 2020 survey by sights Agency, Perspectus Global, Walkers dominated the polls as their Cheese and Onion flavour was the UK's best loved crisp flavour, with Monster Munch beef taking second place and Walkers salt and vinegar coming in at third.

While many flavours have come and gone, we are saddened to reveal that Walkers has axed a fan-favourite from their lineup.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, a crisp fanatic asked the company: "Is it just me that's noticed but I've not seen these in my local shop/supermarket for a while now @walkers_crisps can I still get them??" alongside a picture of the infamous worcester sauce flavour.

For those not in the know, the worcester sauce flavour is infamous for its unique, tangy taste.

The Walkers admin then replied: "Hi, we're sorry but Worcester Sauce flavour is no longer part of our range."

Sad times, I know.

People were absolutely gutted by the news, to say the least, with one saying: "That's a real shame, I enjoyed them in a sandwich!"

And another added: "Walkers Worcester Sauce were my favourite for years."

It seems Walkers worcester sauce flavour is now a thing of the past.

And not to try and make your day any worse, but the worcester sauce flavour isn't the only one that's gone for good.

Another crisp fan named Warren asked Walkers 'where have your Walkers Beef crisps gone'.

Sadly, the company replied: "We’re sorry Warren, but Beef & Onion flavoured crisps are no longer part of our range."

Another beef flavour has also been removed from the range, as one person wrote in: "Guys I NEED the bbq beef teriyaki sensations but can’t find them anywhere. I am deeply saddened, it’s all I’m craving and nothing comes close to how they tasted!"

To which Walkers replied: "Hi Chelsea, we're sorry to say they're no longer part of our range."

This is a truly devastating loss.

Well, if your day has now been ruined, at least you are not the man who accidentally ate a Walkers crisp worth £100,000.

Crisp fan Cory, from Cardiff, Wales, went viral on TikTok after he shared a video of himself revealing that he had accidentally eaten a Walkers crisp that could have been worth £100,000.

Unfortunately, Cory had failed to spot an advert on the crisp packet which explained Walker's is offering £100,000 to one lucky winner who finds the best heart-shaped crisp in their packet.

It wasn't until after he posted his 'what I eat in a day' video online that his followers began point out that he'd been in possession of exactly what Walker's were looking for - a heart shaped crisp.

Cory admitted that it took him 'around six days' to realise his mistake.
