Summer still hasn't really arrived in the UK and many of us are looking to get away for a week for some well-needed sunshine.

Booking days off work is only half of the mission before you start adding up how much a trip away is going to set you back.

What's always helpful though is if you can get the flights for cheap, then the accommodation becomes a little less of a worry.

That's where Ryanair often come in with affordable travel options.

They've currently got one-way tickets to a much-loved coastal city for around £22, which is cheaper than a train ticket to London.

Pasjaca Beach in Croatia, as some will know, is a UK tourist hotspot and is roughly 18 miles from Dubrovnik in the south, and 30 minutes by car.

At the time of writing, if you're flying out from Manchester or London Stanstead, it'll set you back £20, according the airline's website.

If it sounds like your cup of tea, all you need to do when you get there is to make your way down to Konavle cliff, down the steps, and you'll witness one of the coolest beaches around.

The Croatian beach was formed in the 1960s when an excavation for a tunnel led to rocks being discarded into the sea.

Over time, waves crushed these rocks into fine sand, creating a unique and beautiful beach at the base of steep cliffs.

Some are calling it 'one of the most amazing hidden and cool beaches in Dubrovnik Riviera'.

One Google review read: "Clear salty water, open sea, pebbles and smooth rock entry... Not crowded, perfect! No amenities, there just bring the towel and water. Path is hard to climb afterwards, not for older people."

Another person added: "Pasjača Beach is a stunning hidden spot nestled beneath cliffs along the Adriatic coast. The beach features clear turquoise waters and a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Access is challenging with a steep path down the cliffside, but the natural beauty and serene environment make it a worthwhile visit for nature enthusiasts."

While a third tourist noted: "Very nice beach, do not be afraid of steep access. It is more tiring than dangerous or scary.

"Views are amazing. The beach itself is medium size, we did not have a problem to find a spot.

"Sea is crystal clear, unfortunately there is not many shells to find. No urchins at all.

"If you swim to the right, you may find big rocks in the sea on which you can even stand.

"There is a lot of fish in that area, next to the entrance to sort of cave in the cliffs."
