Ever wondered how much it would cost to wave goodbye to a life on land and live out the rest of your days onboard a cruise? Then you're in the right place.
Living on board a cruise may sound like a pretty niche thing to most people, but it's a lifestyle which is becoming steadily more popular.
Thanks to the creation of years long 'never-ending' cruise liners and the fact that buying your own cabin is cheaper than buying a home on land, the lure of the seven seas has never been more appealing.
Just make sure you're prepared to deal with 'sea legs' every time you step on land.

One couple who've made the lifestyle change is Angela and Steve, who keep followers regularly updated with their exploits on their social media accounts MidLife Cruising.

Why did the couple chose to live on a cruise full time?
Last year, Angela and Steve purchased a cabin in the Villa Vie Odyssey cruise liner, a ship which offers passengers a three-and-a-half year trip around hundreds of ports across the world.
So, why did the couple do it?

Calling the decision a lifestyle which 'our dreams are made of' in their announcement video, Angela explained that travelling is something which is important to the couple.
"The unsettledness I feel when we're in one place for too long can be overwhelming sometimes," she said. "Living in a moving home makes perfect sense for us."
The couple also noted the activity-packed itineraries which Villa Vie offer, which allows them to become immersed in the culture of every city they visit.
Beats commuting to the office for your 9-5 job any day of the week.

How much does living on a cruise cost?
Securing a cabin onboard the cruise range anywhere from $99,999 (£78,300) upwards – however, this doesn't include your day-to-day living expenses.

So how much does it cost to live on a cruise?
The couple recently tracked how much they typically spend a month in a video posted back in January – and their average monthly expenses don't break the bank.
Angela and Steve revealed the total spend for the month of January was $1963.50 (£1,447.57). However, this included a $553.83 (£408.30) trip inland to visit Machu Picchu, which they subtracted from the total.
“That was a big expenditure outside the norm," Angela explained.
After subtracting the cost of the excursion and adding one costs of items such as phone bills and stocking up on items in ports, the grand total for the month was $1462.14 (£1,077).

Other bills on top of that aren’t significant, with the couple paying around $13.50 a month on tax for their home in Nicaragua and health insurance.
There is also a monthly maintenance fee which the couple can’t disclose, but they did reveal that rooms for couples where available for anywhere from $5k for a double room with a window view, up to $11k in a suite.
The couple also noted that they were able to get a good deal, which means prices on the website may not reflect the amount which they pay.
“You still get an idea of what we’re spending per month to live this amazing lifestyle,” Angela added.
How much do Steve and Angela spend per day?
Broken down into a daily figure, this comes to $47.16 (£35) per day for the couple, with them noting that some days are significantly cheaper than others.

For example, days where the ship is travelling between ports see the couple spend a grand total of $0, with Steve joking ‘the bank account likes sea days’.
