You can currently book a luxury mini break to Malta for less than £90 per person - including hotels

It's a summer getaway that won't break the bank, and costs less than £100 per person

The summer has seemed to be pretty much a washout here in the UK, and I don't know about you but I'm fed up of rain, cold and putting a big winter coat on in May.

If you're already wishing for some sunshine, relaxing on a beach and grabbing a beer that doesn't cost you £7, then it might be time to hop on a plane and explore somewhere new.

Wowcher isn't just for half price days out, it's also got some pretty nice looking holiday deals including a trip to a European country that means you can get a beach holiday, explore history and delicious cuisine as well as enjoying a buzzing nightlife.

The latest deal from Wowcher to Malta means a holiday for two including hotels will cost you less than £90 per person and you'll get to enjoy the stunning country hidden away in the Mediterranean.

Not just an entry in the Eurovision, Malta is an ideal holiday for a luxury mini break that has loads to offer. It has excellent food, loads of history to discover (if you like keeping busy on your mini break) and it also offers a beach holiday meaning you don't have to compromise on sea or city for your getaway.

The Wowcher deal covers everything you'd need for a quick holiday and includes a two, three or four-night Malta beach break with return flights from Manchester, London Gatwick, London Luton, and London Stansted. You'll also get a choice of two three star hotels, either the Relax Inn hotel or the Topaz Hotel.

Now here's the disclaimer part, you do only get hand luggage so if you want to bring anything extra then that will cost you on top. Plus the deal is based on two people sharing so if you're looking for a solo trip, this deal might not be for you unless you're happy to pay the price of two people.

And it goes without saying that two nights is cheaper than three or four, but with loads of dates across the summer there's plenty to choose from and you can make sure you're getting your Vitamin D fix as well as avoiding (what looks like) a washout summer here in the UK.

Now there's only one thing left to do - get the holiday booked off work, pack your bags and we'll see you for a beer at the airport bar.
