Ryanair flash sale flies you to 'gift of the sea' European city with £1.70 beers for less than £20
As the fourth heatwave of the year grips the UK, Ryanair is offering people the chance to escape to a place where the sun can actually be appreciated on the cheap.
Ryanair has launched another of its common flash sales on Wednesday, July 29, with prospective holidaymakers having until just 11:59pm to get flights booked for travel in August for as little as £19.99.
Given August is the height of the school summer holidays and tends to be when holiday travel prices peak, that's an offer worth exploring.
Scores of flights to popular tourist destinations have been slashed, though the flights must take place between August 1 and August 31, 2026.

From the sunny beaches of Mallorca to the Irish pubs of Dublin and the stunning cuisine of Genoa, there's some many exciting places you could go.
Including the Croatian city of Zadar, where drinks come cheap.
Visit the 'gift of the sea' for less than a takeaway
The name Zadar means 'gift of the sea,' according to Hostels Forum Blog, and it has certainly earned the moniker with its prize location overlooking the Adriatic on Croatia's Dalmatian coastline.
Flights to Zadar take around two and a half hours from the United Kingdom, a short trip to arrive in such a historic city.
Zadar's official tourist board describes it as 'an atmospheric time machine and an open air museum', hardly surprising given the historical culture and architecture, even dating back to the Romans, it boasts.
Its ancient city walls, known locally as Muraj, were built in the 12th and 13th centuries and were made a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to their historical value, having been the largest city fortress of the Venetian Republic in the 1500s.
With a charming old town, a string of palaces, churches and museums, and even a Sphinx, there's plenty of sightseeing to fill up a weekend break away.
That's before you even get to the drinks.
Locals on Reddit claim beer can be bought for as little as €2 in the city, which works out at just £1.71. The makings of a good trip.
It might be a touch more expensive in the bars, though, as prices can reportedly vary widely.
Cost of living website Numbeo lists half a litre of domestic draft beer as costing €5.00 on average, with drinks as cheap as €3 and as expensive as €6.
A meal can be enjoyed for as little as €13.50, too.
With beer and food prices continuing to rise in the UK amid the Cost of Living Crisis, that's not bad at all when you're drinking in such pleasant surrounds.
There are typically plenty of hotels on offer, too, which can be booked through Expedia if you've now got the bug to travel.
Zadar also has countless bars, many looking up at the striking ancient walls, boisterous nightlife and loads of stunning beaches right on the doorstep, so you can go from the heart of the city to diving into the sea within moments.
