WhatsApp To Introduce Function That Allows You To Delete Messages

Ever sent out a extraordinarily cringey, thirsty, embarrassing text which makes you ashamed to be human? Nope? Just my colleague James Dawson? Well, he's gonna love this new WhatsApp update.

The phone app is launching a function which gives you the chance to 'unsend' a message for those instances where you send a 'come over x' to a girl/boy you've met twice at the bar they work in.

There is a catch, though. Don't get ahead of yourselves thinking you can now send something drunk, wake up the next morning and delete it. Of course, that's a flawed hope because people check their phones almost constantly nowadays. You can only withdraw the text while it's still 'unseen'. Essentially, we have to become more savvy and thoughtful pissheads.

The update also allows users to edit the messages. Editing? Christ, takes me long enough making a first draft three sheets to the wind. You can forget about me sitting down and proofreading/subbing the damn thing.
