Audio of the 911 call made about Kanye West before he was hospitalised has been released on to the internet.
The 39-year-old rapper was rushed into hospital last week after a 'disturbance call' was made to the emergency services. Kanye's personal physician, Dr Michael Farzam, is reported to be the man who made the call.
In the audio, a man who tells the call handler that he is Kanye's doctor asks for paramedics and police back up. He says: "I think he's definitely going to need to be hospitalised. I wouldn't just do the police by itself."

The dispatcher asks what 'medical condition he's having' before seemingly becoming worried for Kanye's safety as he says: "'Keep an eye on him. Don't let him get any weapons or anything like that.
"If anything changes, if he does become physically combative between now and when police and/or paramedics get there, call us back immediately at 911."

Kanye was taken into UCLA Medical Centre where he spent just over a week before being sent back home. According to TMZ, he will be undergoing further psychological treatment, with a source saying he was 'not out of the woods yet'.
