Guy Who Knocked Justin Bieber To The Floor Speaks Out For The First Time

Life's not gone well since...

The entire world gave the bloke who threw Justin Bieber to the floor a collective pat on the back when the video emerged last week but in reality, his life has taken a pretty bad turn for the worse since the incident.

Lamont Richmond, 37, was tracked down by Daily Mail Online and gave an exclusive interview where he's revealed why the scuffle occurred and the downturn his life has taken since.

But the first thing he wanted to address was that reports claiming he is 6-foot 5-inches tall were well wide of the mark and he actually stands at around 6ft. Now that's all cleared up, onwards...

The story goes that Lamont was simply walking through the same hotel lobby in Cleveland as Bieber when the lady he was with wanted to ask if she could get an autograph.

Lamont, being a gentleman, approached Bieber to ask if his lady friend could get an autograph and the singer just swung at him.

"He seemed to be in one of those 'I don't want to sign autograph' phases. He was all 'Get out of my face'. He didn't connect. I'm pretty good at ducking punches," Lamont told Daily Mail Online.

That's when Lamont grabbed the three-time Grammy nominee and threw him to the floor before any of his security staff could intervene.

"I wasn't trying to hurt anyone. I wasn't trying to get arrested. Any man would do what I did because he showed such disrespect. I asked him: 'What are you doing? They only wanted an autograph. Don't be so disrespectful'."

The next day Bieber, being the type of guy he is, posted on Instagram a selfie captioned: "Not a scratch on this pretty boy." - he deleted it soon after.

Anyway, while Bieber will continue to sell million of records and provide for his loved ones, Lamont, simply standing up for himself and his friend, has been let go from his job as a maintenance worker at a college in Cleveland - a job he's held for two years.

He's also had to completely remove himself from social media and been abused by idiotic 'Beliebers' who apparently have no sense of right and wrong. He's even received death threats.

Lamont now wants to sit down 'man-to-man' with Bieber in a bid to avoid taking legal action to clear his name.

"I don't know what to do. It wasn't me that started it, but Justin Bieber still has work. He can feed his family, I can't. Next stop for me is McDonald's or Wendy's. I have to eat," Lamont continued.

I think we can all agree Bieber himself needs to intervene here to stop this guy's life from spiraling downhill.
