Kanye West has been seen publicly for the first time since his hospitalisation.

With newly-dyed blond hair, he attended an art installation at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

He was treated for temporary psychosis as a result of sleep deprivation and dehydration. There were other reports that he was dealing with paranoia. These issues then forced him to cancel a string of dates while recovering in hospital.

It's been a difficult year for Kanye and his family. Especially after wife Kim was recently robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

Kim has been nursing her husband back to health at UCLA Medical Center, but now there are reports that she wants to divorce the rapper 'when the time is right'. However, the speculation claims that this isn't connected to his breakdown.

Here at TheLADbible, we've been working on our U OK M8? series over the past few months to reduce the stigma that often exists around mental health, which can stop men speaking up about the problems they suffer.

We think this is important because male suicide is the single biggest killer of British men under the age of 45. One in four people will experience a mental health problem in any given year and, according to a CALM survey, 41 percent of men who contemplated ending their lives never actually spoke to anyone about it.

'U OK M8?' is an initiative from TheLADbible in partnership with a range of mental health charities which has featured a series of films and stories to raise awareness of mental health.

Explore more here and don't suffer in silence. Reach out. It's the brave thing to do.
