Microsoft's 'Hey Bae Intern' Email Is Making Me Feel Queasy

There are two types of people in this world. There are perfectly respectful human beings and people who use the word 'bae'. Do not fall into the latter. That shit is not okay.

Especially avoid it if you work at a multibillion dollar company and you're inviting somebody to an event. Wait, they wouldn't do such a thing, surely?

Well, you would think so. However, that's exactly what this Microsoft recruiter did.

According to Twitter user Patrick Burtchaell, his roommate received an email from a Microsoft University Recruiter, inviting them to Microsoft's Internapalooza afterparty in Seattle on July 11.

Just get a load of this! It's all kinds of cringe...

As you can see, things got even worse after the opening line.

"My crew is coming down from our HQ in Seattle to hang with you and the crowd," the email reads.

It continues: "There will be hella noms, lots of dranks, the best beats and just like last year, we're breaking out the Yammer beer pong tables!"

Holy Jesus Christ. 'Kim' is clearly 45.

The end of the email is (rather unnecessarily) in bright orange text and reads: "HELL YES TO GETTING LIT ON A MONDAY NIGHT." How about hell no, Microsoft.

Stop this at once.
