New Photos From 'Wolverine 3' Give Away Some Pretty Grim Details

'Wolverine 3' has previously been a mystery to anyone outside of the writers' room, knowing pretty much only cast reprisals at that. Now we have some bits of the story to quench your appetite until the next step, including the name of the film, Logan.

A verified Instagram account called 'wpnox' has also posted photos alluding to the upcoming blockbuster. One of which, captioned 'Aftermath', shows a severed hand holding a gun.

In a recent interview, Jackman said of the film: "Basically, it's going to be different. Very different in tone and hopefully to anything we've done."

James Mangold, the director of Logan, said: "If you're on the make for a hyper-choreographed, gravity defying, city-block destroying CG fuckathon, this ain't your movie.

"In this flick, people get hurt or killed when shit falls on them. They will get just as hurt or just as killed if they get hit with something big and heavy, like, say, a car. Should anyone in our story have the misfortune to fall off a roof or out a window, they won't bounce. They will die."

A poster for the flick displaying Wolverine's infamous claws has been released.

Logan hits cinemas March 3, 2017.
