A McDonald's Big Mac Challenge Is Offering A Cash Prize

Hope you're feeling hungry

On Bank Holiday Monday, after three nights out, many people might have been thinking about destroying multiple McDonald's meals in one sitting.

That said, you might have decided to behave and limit your selection. However, knowing you could have been paid for smashing your dreams could have seen you make different choice.

'The Big Mac Meal Challenge' Facebook group has set the bar with the goal of finding the person 'that can actually do this'.

So, what is the challenge? One person must consume four Big Macs, four large fries, and four large milkshakes (flavour optional). This must all be done in 60 minutes and the food must be held down for 30 minutes after swallowing the last bit.

Other rules include no food or drink substitutions, pickles are optional, and you can eat it however you want 'as long as it's 100 percent consumed (including the little bits of lettuce, all those little fries stuck at the bottom of the carton and every bit of milkshake)'.

It's not an 'official' McDonald's challenge but the Facebook page features a rather menacing Batman Joker-esc Ronald McDonald with spooky writing which reads: "Would ya like fries with that?"

The page is run by administrators who themselves will buy the meals up front for you. They are the ones responsible for forking out the £100 if someone wins (hard video evidence required).

We're guessing nobody has completed it yet, as the page says: "As soon as someone wins, and we have hard, undisputable video evidence, this page will be shut."

Fail to win, though, and you have to reimburse the administrator for the meals (we estimate about £20), and reward them with three pints of beer.

The group is also quick to distance itself from any arising problems that may follow your attempt at this challenge.

It reads: "The organisers and host venue take no responsibility for any risks undertaken or damages caused to your person, your mental state, you not being able to show up at work for the next two days because of your smell, your personal/professional reputation or short to long-term health risks.

"You will be filmed and it will be posted here.

"Fair warning: If you think you can do this, you're wrong. But for some reason people keep on trying. And we'll keep drinking their beer."
