During the late 90s and the early 00s, Eminem was unstoppable.

His major label debut, The Slim Shady LP went triple platinum by the end of 1999 thanks to singles like 'Just Don't Give a Fuck', 'My Name Is' and 'Guilty Conscience'. However a plethora of controversies also made the album desirable to fans, most notably coming from '97 Bonnie & Clyde', in which Em's alter ego Slim Shady raps about killing his wife and disposing her body in the sea with the his daughter Hailie.

The Marshall Mathers LP, released in 2000, did more of the same. It became the fastest-selling studio album by any solo artist in American music history, won a Grammy Award and would later get a sequel, The Marshall Mathers LP II, in 2013.

It also came with its controversies, as it featured a prequel to '97 Bonnie & Clyde', called 'Kim', in which he speaks of beating his wife and putting her in the boot of his car, before the events lead onto the song from the previous album.

The record was also home to 'Stan', a song featuring Dido which reached number one in eleven countries. Pretty much everyone knows the words to it, now.

After another two years the Detroit rapper released the Eminem Show. The album went in a different direction to its two predecessors, largely toning down the Slim Shady personality and focusing more on his rise to fame, his impact on society and culture, and politics.

'Without Me' became a sensation in charts, along with 'Sing for the Moment', but there were certain gems on the album, such as ''Till I Collapse' which is considered one of Eminem's best songs to date.

Now, 15 years after the record's release, the rapper has teased us with something on his Instagram.

May 28 is the date it landed on shelves all those years ago, so could there be some new material as a homage to it? Maybe a tour?

A link posted to his bio goes to the Shady Records website, where there's an option to sign up for early access to 'The Eminem Show capsule.' It's not really clear what the 'capsule is', but it sounds as if it'll be some unreleased songs or memorabilia from that period.

It's worth signing up just to see what it is.

Even so, it's okay to hope that there might be a sequel to the Eminem Show.
