'Geordie Shore' Star Scotty T Arrested For Possession Of A Weapon

Geordie Shore star and Celebrity Big Brother winner Scotty T was recently arrested.

The 28-year-old reality star was cautioned by police in Newcastle on Monday morning for possession of a weapon in a public space, reports The Sun.

The star, who has probably already made a joke about the weapon being in his pants, was released by police in the early hours of Monday morning, after admitting that he had brandished an air rifle in a public place.

Scotty - real name Scott Timlin - left the police station with just a caution for the offence, which will remain on his criminal record. Despite what might seem like a small punishment for the reality star, it may have some serious repercussions for his career.

He can now be denied entry to certain countries, which is problematic for club appearances abroad and filming of Geordie Shore that occasionally takes place in places like Australia, Mexico and Greece.

His apartment was reportedly searched while he was questioned by police.
