Loris Karius Receives Flirty Comment From Mia Khalifa After Champions League Defeat

His mistakes last night may have cost Liverpool their first European title in 13 years, but while every scouser on the face of the earth is up in arms, there's one unlikely admirer that Loris Karius doesn't seem to have upset at all.

Far from being angry at the Liverpool goalie's performance in the Champion's League final, former adult star Mia Khalifa seemed quite taken with Karius, as she posted a flirty message on one of his Instagram photos.

Before his team's defeat at the hands of Real Madrid, the German keeper posted a photo of himself with the caption: "Eyes on the prize."

While many commenters posting after the match gave him a ribbing - sports website Bench Warmers joked that he probably should've kept his eyes on the ball instead - 25-year-old Khalifa posted a flirty message of support.

"Is he the prize? Because....," she wrote.

Mario Balotelli also seems to have spotted Khalifa's flirty comment and got involved in the conversation before telling Karius to 'stay strong'.

Speaking to Sky Sports after his disastrous match, Karius said: "I don't feel anything right now.

"Today I lost my team the game and I feel sorry for everyone - from the team, from the whole club - that the mistakes cost dearly.

"If I could go back in time I would. I feel sorry for my team. I know I let them down today. These goals cost us the title basically.

"It's very hard right now but that's the life of a goalkeeper. You have to get your head up again."

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp also weighed in on the keeper's mistakes, saying: "What can I say? Loris knows it, everybody knows it. It's a shame in a game like this and after a season like this. I really feel for him; he's a fantastic boy.

"Nobody wants that, [but] that's the situation. The mistakes were obvious, we don't have to talk about that, it's all clear; he knows it, I know it, you all know it.

"Now, he has to deal with it, we have to deal with, we will do that, of course, we will be with him, there's no doubt about that. It was not his night, obviously."

Khalifa shot to stardom after a very brief stint as an adult actress and subsequently landed a job as a presenter on sports talk show Out Of Bounds.

During her time on the show Khalifa managed to land herself in hot water on more than one occasion - most notably when she branded women's wrestling 'embarassing', making an enemy out of WWE star Eva Marie.
