Just two days before UFC's milestone event, UFC 200, Jon Jones was pulled from the card after failing a drugs test.
Jones was set to take on Daniel Cromier, who was just as disappointed as his opponent that the fight wouldn't go ahead.
Now, Jones's manager, Malki Kawa, has revealed that the pay his client would have received for the fight would have been higher than the returning Brock Lesnar.

Kawa told MMA Fighting: "You're talking about an eight-figure payday.
"Eight figures. Conor [McGregor] can talk about whatever he gets and all of that, but Jon is by far the highest paid guy in the UFC, and the numbers that were shown that day for everybody from Brock [Lesnar] and the way down, Jon was making more than all of that.
"So for me, we lost out on an eight-figure payday.
"I wasn't going to make eight figures, but I was going to get a percentage of that. The team was going to get a percentage of that. If you think that by any chance I'm going to sit here and be like, 'hey man, take this supplement,' then I'm just as stupid as the people who think that I'm an enabler."

Kawa went on to tell MMA Fighting that he knew what supplement caused Jones to fail his drug test, but did not reveal exactly what it was.
It's sad to see someone like Jon Jones, who has bags of talent, waste a glorious opportunity like he has done.
