BlackBerry Is Making A Comeback And There's A Motherfucking QWERTY Keyboard

Nostalgia.

Just imagine for a minute it's 2007. You thought all your efforts to woo Stacy from school had gone to waste, but then, out of nowhere, she gives you her BBM pin. Suddenly fuck all else matters. Also, T2's 'Heartbroken' is an absolute anthem so the world is a great place.

Unfortunately, the nostalgia that a broken BlackBerry roller brings is hard to come by nowadays since the boom of the iPhone. However, that could be about to change.

In the latter half of 2016 whispers began to circulate of a return of the Motorola Razr flip phone, and now the same is happening with BlackBerry handsets.

According to Mashable, a new model from the Android phone maker will be released in 2017 called 'Mercury'.

The device, according to TCL Communications Technology (TCT), will revolve around three core areas: security, productivity and reliability. It'll also see the return of the QWERTY keyboard, which lit up the eyes of many a pre-pubescent teen throughout the 2000s.

"We look forward to unveiling details around this distinctly different and impressively designed BlackBerry smartphone around the Mobile World Congress time frame next month," Steve Cistulli, president of TCT, said in a statement.

The return of the brand apparently promises to 'offer the most complete end-to-end smartphone security available on Android'. This is utter codswallop, because no one gives a shit. Give us BlackBerry messenger and we'll be sound.

According to reports, along with the keyboard, it'll have a touchscreen and a fingerprint scanner similar to Apple.

The full details of the phone will be released at Mobile World Congress later in the year, when they will hopefully reveal that your old BBM conversations can be restored and you can finally find out whether or not Stacy wants to meet you behind the bike sheds for a kiss.

If T2 'Heartbroken' is on there, too, that'd be great.
