A young woman who dosed off in an Uber awoke to find she'd been taken on a 35-mile detour that landed her an £85 charge.
Hannah Warman, a comedian, did not find this fee of this ride back from a mate's party in Stoke Newington to her home - a five minute walk away - funny in the slightest.

Risking it all, her driver clocked her sleeping state and gave her a 90-minute tour of London.
A screenshot of the journey on a map shows the driver headed west through Wembley and towards Ealing, before returning and dropping her off.
She told the Evening Standard: "I must've fallen asleep in the car. I woke up a couple of times and said 'Why is this taking so long?'
"I think I assumed he'd got a bit lost or something but I had no idea it'd been an hour and a half.
"I fell back asleep. I went straight to bed once I'd got home and I only realised what had happened the next day when I got an email receipt for my £85 Uber journey."

Uber fortunately refunded the cash. Still, Warman remains angered.
"After a lot of emails, Uber have refunded most of the fee but I feel like I don't trust them anymore," she said.
"I feel like they should reassure me that the driver was penalised or dismissed and explain how this could've happened."
It's an unlucky tale, but we're all still gonna get Ubers aren't we? So practical, so quick, such good company - bar the chancers.
