Niki Wyatt and Samantha Lochrie reduced This Morning viewers to tears earlier today after they got engaged on the ITV show.

The couple, who have Down's Syndrome, joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford with their mums, Jackie and Kim, as they discussed being banned from kissing at a youth club.

Despite both being aged over 18, their kissing was deemed inappropriate, The Sun reports.

However, after talking about that topic, 30-year-old Niki completely changed the mood as he got on one knee and proposed to Samantha, as you can see.

Twenty-three-year-old Samantha of course gleefully said yes, quickly sending the audience into a frenzy of joy and tears.

Prior to placing the ring on his girlfriend's hand, Ruth asks Samantha if she loves Niki and if he's the best man in the world. Before she can reply, Niki quickly agrees, brandishing the new-found confidence his mum had mentioned.

Congratulations, Niki and Samantha.
