According to Wikileaks, Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former US President Bill and on of the front runners of this year's US Election Hillary, used money collected by the Clinton Foundation to fund her wedding.

Reports suggest that the 36-year-old, who married Marc Mezvinsky in 2010, was 'investigating' the charity foundation's money, with no one sure why.

Doug Band, a former top to president Bill Clinton and a former Clinton Global Initiative board member, voices his dissatisfaction with Chelsea in several emails, according to the 'leaks'. Band labelled the only child's interest in the family's charity funds as a 'conflict of interest', the Daily Mail reports.

One email from the former board member read: "I just received a call from a close friend of (William Jefferson Clinton) who said that cvc told one of the (George W Bush) kids that she is conducting an internal investigation of money within the foundation from cgi to the foundation.

"The bush kid then told someone else who then told an operative within the republican party.

"I have heard more and more chatter of CVC and (Bari Lurie, chief of staff to Chelsea Clinton at the Clinton Foundation) talking about lots of what is going on internally to people. Not smart."

He also went on to say that he believes Chelsea (CVC), 'goes to daddy' to get her way. Her wedding reportedly cost $3million, but it is unsure how much of that money came from the Clinton Foundation's resources, if any at all.

"I learned from the best. The investigation into her getting paid for campaigning, using foundation resources for her wedding and life for a decade, taxes on money from her parents," Band wrote in an email. "I hope that you will speak to her and end this."

Chelsea's mother, Hillary, who is currently in a head-to-head battle with Donald Trump to be the next president of the United States, has also had her troubles when it comes to emails, with the FBI having recently investigated her activity.

Is this more salt in the wounds for the Clinton campaign, which has stumbled in the past week, watching on as Donald Trump overtook her for the first time since May?
