Remember the Texan woman who got a proper telling off from Phillip Schofield for wanting to get pregnant despite being 50 stone?

Well, she's pregnant. And as you can see in the video below, she's making a huge effort to get fit and healthy for her unborn baby, losing 14 stone in just 10 weeks.

Monica Riley and her other half Sid appeared on This Morning at the end of last year, after Monica went viral for vowing to reach her 70-stone weight goal.

While speaking to Holly and Phil, she said: "Yes, we would like to have children. I think I would lose weight, I wouldn't get down to super thin but just to have a baby then yes."

To which a shocked Phil replied: "How would you possibly look after a child?"

Monica told the host they could simply hire a nanny, but still Phil was unimpressed, saying: "You are limiting your life at that size. Isn't it irresponsible to have a child and be that big?"

Monica and Sid hit headlines last year, after she said she wanted to be so big she would be bed-bound, she said: "The plan is to reach 1000lbs and become immobile. I would feel like a queen because Sid would be waiting on me hand and foot, and he's excited about it too.

"It's a sexual fantasy for us and we talk about it a lot. He already has to help me get off the sofa and get me out of bed."

However, now she's 15 weeks pregnant, Monica has had a change of heart and is desperate to slim down and get healthy for her baby.

She's already lost 14 stone in 10 weeks, taking her down to 35 stone, after completely overhauling her diet.

Sadly, the couple have already been through two miscarriages, making Monica even more determined to get healthy.

She said: "At one point in my life, I wanted to be the biggest woman in the world. I wanted to be bedbound and immobile and be fed ever more.

"But now that I am pregnant, it's been a wake-up call.

"I want to be able to be active with my child. I want to be able to get up and with him or her and be involved in every way. You can't do that if you're immobile.

"I do think my weight affected the previous pregnancies. There is no clear medical evidence but I think if I was healthier the babies would have been stronger. I accept that my eating habits were terrible.

"When I first found out I was pregnant this time I was really nervous and scared because I knew that I had to change a lot of stuff.

"I don't want to lose any more babies and I didn't realize how dangerous it was to be pregnant at this size before. I want to be healthy enough for the baby to keep growing."

She's cut her daily calorie intake from an unbelievable 10,000 to 2,000.

Sid added: "We just want the baby to be healthy so we can finally start our life together as a family and maybe even have more kids in the future.

"I just want to give him or her the best life I can, and that's all that matters."

Best of luck to them.
