Infamous influencer Andrew Tate has claimed that he might have been poisoned after posting on Twitter about suddenly suffering from health issues.

Tate is currently under house arrest in Romania under suspicion of organised crime and human trafficking, which he denies.

The influencer and his brother had been taken into custody on 29 December, with their time in jail extended multiple times, before being released into house arrest.

Since returning to his home the influencer who is known for his sexist and misogynistic views has claimed that 'the fire of truth will eventually destroy all lies'.

His period of house arrest had been due to expire on 29 April but it was recently extended for another 30 days so Tate and his brother Tristan will be in their home until at least 29 May.

Andrew Tate has previously claimed that 'the matrix' is trying to attack him.

The controversial influencer has previously claimed that 'the matrix' was out to get him, saying he had been 'attacked' while in jail and been rushed to hospital.

Now he's made similar claims following some sort of adverse reaction, posting his symptoms to Twitter earlier today (27 April).

"Face swollen. Blood pressure is through the roof. Skins on fire. Hard to breathe. Some sort of severe reaction or poison. Only had coffee and water so far today. All appeared in the last 5mins," he wrote, accompanied by a picture and video of himself.

Tate then followed that up with a video of what looked like a red rash across parts of his body, tweeting that he was 'gathering chi'.

Presumably someone on his team then wrote: "Andrew is not allergic to anything. This has never happened before. Has only had water and coffee today.

"Either an insect bite or some matrix attack insanity in his bottled water. He’s refusing doctors and is focusing on tea and breathing. Will keep you all updated."

Someone using Tate's Twitter account said he was refusing doctors.

Another update read: "Andrews fine. Says that pain is part of life. He says the doctor will inject him with 'who knows what' and kill him.

"He’s in lotus position and drinking tea. As long as he can breathe he refuses medical attention - so far so good. The question is where this came from."

Tate previously claimed he feared he might be shot after leaving prison, claiming that 'stage 3 approaches' though quite what that's supposed to actually mean is anyone's guess.

The influencer has been under investigation over possible human trafficking since April 2022, while after he and his brother were arrested Romania's Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) said victims had been lured before facing 'physical violence and mental coercion'.

DIICOT says the victims were then forced to 'perform pornographic demonstrations'.

In addition to being detained as part of an investigation into human trafficking, organised crime and rape, Tate is also facing a lawsuit from three women who allege that he raped and abused them.

They say they worked as webcam models for Tate in 2013 and claim they were abused during that time, with the women saying they brought the matter to police's attention before.
