A video of a dog being adopted after spending 500 days in an animal shelter has gone viral on social media.
Whenever you hear about animals being adopted, it's hard not to feel all good inside.
But this story about a dog in Niagara Falls, New York, will warm your heart more than sitting next to an open fire.
Bonita was at the Niagara SPCA for nearly a year and a half. The five-year-old pit bull mix was looked over by many people during that time and it was looking likely that she was going to have to spend Christmas at the animal shelter.
But at the eleventh hour, someone came in and rescued her.
Kimberly LaRussa, event coordinator at the Niagara SPCA, told Fox 13: "Everybody loves her so much, and a lot of our employees are used to seeing her every day, so I know we are all going to miss her like crazy.

"She gets to be the lady of the house, which I'm sure is a dream come true for her."
The video of her leaving the Niagara SPCA is so beautiful because you can see that she can't contain her excitement.
Employees at the shelter formed a human tunnel and threw what looked to be glitter as Bonita jumped high in the air several times.
Ray Kinz was the kind man that adopted Bonita and he's since started an Instagram page where he's keeping everyone updated with how happy the pit bull mix is after settling into his home.
