New Snapchat Filter Makes Your Dog Look Like A Disney Character

New Snapchat Filter Makes Your Dog Look Like A Disney Character

Social media filters can be a bit hit-and-miss, with some turning you into an absolute babe and others mutating your mug so much you end up looking like a creature from the deep.

But for all the dodgy offerings out there, there's one on Snapchat I think we can all agree is a bona fide success, as it 'Disneyfies' your pet to make them look even more adorable than they already are. YUP.

One dog owner, who runs Instagram account @snowdrops.and.stardust, shared the tip-off in the Dogspotting Society Facebook group, writing: "For those that don't know... Snapchat has a new filter and it basically Disneyfies your dog. YOU ARE WELCOME. Plz post your Disney dawgs here."

The post instantly went viral, racking up more than 6,000 likes and 2,000 comments within hours.

Many other dog owners followed suit with their own four-legged friends, sharing the results in the thread.

Posting a photo of their pooch, one person wrote: "Aww omg."

Unfortunately, there was one doggo that didn't quite manage to nail the filter, with its owner sharing their efforts and saying sarcastically: "He looks just like a prince now from Disney."

Replying to the post, someone said: "I just woke the baby from laughing so loud."

There's always one, eh?

It just goes to show that filters don't always quite go the way you planned, whether that's giving your baby a terrifying Cheshire Cat-style grin or pranking your missus with a virtual makeover that's dangerously convincing.

One boss recently learned this the hard way, having accidentally transformed themselves into a potato during a work video call.

Thankfully, one of her employees screenshotted it and put it on Twitter for us all to enjoy, explaining that she was 'stuck like this the entire meeting'.

Luckily for the employee, the manager took it all in her stride and owned up to being the #potatoboss.

Sharing the tweet, they wrote: "I yam potato boss. You should see me in a crown, right @billieeilish? I yam glad this is making folks laugh at this time. Please stay planted at home and safe! For more needed laughs, follow my favorite comedian @cristela9 . Potate out. #HASHtag #PotatoBoss."
