Pug Going To The Vet Is The Creepiest Thing You'll See Today

Pug Going To The Vet Is The Creepiest Thing You'll See Today

That's certainly an...interesting way to see a pug

You're always encouraged to take your pet to the vet on regular occasions to ensure they've got a clean bill of health.

Hopefully, any such trips will deliver an all-clear verdict, leaving you free to go back to walks in the park, teaching it swear words or building box houses it can climb.

But during a check-up, there are some routine things that will be perfectly normal for the vet and not so normal for regular folk - and that's certainly what happened with this pug's visit.

The doggo in question went through a coronal scan,, which would probably be a really routine thing for a vet to do but it has left the rest of us with our mouths open.

The photo was taken by a friend of comedian Andy Richter, who then posted it onto social media for everyone to see just how weird animals can look in certain uncomfortable situations.

Sure, humans also look pretty freaky under a coronal view but this pug looks otherworldly.

People have reacted in horror on social media, with one person writing: "Some things you just can't unsee."

Another added: "Amazing. Pugs may be the only creature to look exactly the same in X-Ray as in visible light."

According to Andy, this particular trip to the vet came back all good and now the dog can bask in its online fame.

This can't always be said for pugs in general, as it's a breed that suffers from a lot of health complications. They can experience eyeball prolapse, skin fold dermatitis, hip dysplasia, demodectic mange, necrotizing meningoencephalitis and hemivertebrae.
