The reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has just dropped. Check it out below:

Set for release on October 28, the game is a follow-up to the 2019 reboot Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

In terms of what to expect, we know that Ghost, who originally appeared in the 2009 version, is set to return to the game, which is reportedly based on a Latin American drug cartel.

Also, according to Call of Duty insider TheGhostofHope, the game is set to have a Escape From Tarkov inspired mode.

The insider added: "Modern Warfare II’s third mode ‘DMZ’ will launch in BETA.

"'Something like the DMZ doesn’t become final until the general public has gotten hands on it. It’s a large mode that needs maintenance'."

Needless to say, fans were blown away by the trailer, and rushed to Twitter to express their excitement.

“Oh hell yeah!” gushed one Twitter user, with another adding: “Awesome!”

A third social media user wrote: “So pumped for this game!” while a fourth echoed: “I guess it’s another year where I pre-order Call Of Duty.”

Other comments included: “I can’t wait,” I’m so ready,” and “Call Of Duty, I love you so much.”

Well, ahead of COD's upcoming game, fans are barely able to contain their excitement.

One commented: "Words cannot explain how excited I am for this game. MW 2019 was and still is to this day one of my favorite games."

Another wrote: "I haven't got chills like that in 2 years, when the last mw came out."

While a third added: "I'm crying with happiness and nostalgia so much right now please don't let us down with this game I know you guys won't!"

Someone else said: "I’ve been faithful to MW19 since its release.

"Can’t wait to switch over to this new MWII game.

"Infinity Ward is ready to revive COD once again."
