Call of Duty is set to introduce a new Formula 1 map and it looks incredible

The map looks almost exactly like the real-life Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore.

The next Call of Duty will feature an F1 Singapore Grand Prix map, and honestly, it looks inredible.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which is said to be a reboot of the original 2007 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfarehas included a Formula 1-themed multiplayer map called ‘Marina Bay Grand Prix’.

But this F1 track won’t just be used for fast cars; it will serve as a battleground to take Call of Duty to new heights.

Call of Duty
The company released a statement teasing the new F1-inspired map, saying: "The Modern Warfare II Beta is set to feature a robust multiplayer experience going beyond the Core 6v6 experience with a variety of meticulously designed maps of various sizes, and an equally impressive set of Modes, Progression experiences, and other aspects that will be more thoroughly revealed at Call of Duty: Next.

"In addition, we revealed a fly-through of Marina Bay Grand Prix, where combat occurs within the main infield of an urban race circuit, one of the 6v6 Multiplayer maps confirmed for the Beta."

Infinity Ward also posted a sneak peek of the track, which looks almost exactly like the real-life Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore.

The preview sent the internet into overdrive, drooling over the game’s impressive graphics.

One person wrote: “Looks like I am going back to play COD.”

Another commented: “Oh oh oh they got me with this one.”

A third person said: “TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY.”

While another joked: “Tfw you are in the middle of a gunfight and suddenly get run over by an F1 car, driven by- you guessed it:

Lance Stroll.”

Honestly, to be hit by the Canadian-Belgian racing driver would be an epic Call of Duty death.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is set to be released worldwide on October 28.

According to the Call of Duty website, Ghost, who originally appeared in the 2009 version, is set to return to the game, which follows a Latin American drug cartel.

But that’s not all; an insider told TheGhostofHope that the game is set to have an Escape From Tarkov-inspired mode.

The insider added: "Modern Warfare II’s third mode ‘DMZ’ will launch in BETA.

"'Something like the DMZ doesn’t become final until the general public has gotten hands on it. It’s a large mode that needs maintenance.'"
