A neighbour claims she witnessed a number of disturbing things while living next to Amanda Wixon, who received multiple charges for keeping a 'slave' for 25 years.
Wixon, a mum-of-10 from Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, forced the teenager to work for her family from the age of 16. The victim also has no medical records as she didn't see a doctor during this time, having stayed at the property from 1995 to 2021.
Gloucester Crown Court heard that she was regularly beaten and hit with a broom by Wixon, 56. It was also heard that she was not allowed to leave the home, while being allegedly abused in several ways.
The woman had washing-up liquid squirted down her throat, her head flushed in a toilet, bleach splashed on her face, and her head shaved against her will, while also being given limited food by Wixon.

Police officers said that her room was similar to a 'prison cell', with her case being brought to light when one of Wixon's sons reported his mother's crimes to authorities.
Bodycam footage of Wixon's arrest has since been publicised, adding to the horror of the situation.
Wixon denied the charges against her, including one charge of false imprisonment, two charges of requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour, and four charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
She was found guilty on all charges apart from one, in relation to assault, and is currently released on conditional bail, awaiting a hefty punishment, with sentencing scheduled for 12 March.
Now, Kiram, 33, a witness in the case against the guilty party, claims that social services should have done more after seeing Wixon beat the victim 'like a ragdoll'.
She said that she saw her victim knocking on the window regularly, and provided a statement to police about the abuse, according to the Daily Star.

She claimed that she called social services several times 'but nothing was ever done', despite seeing the victim being physically abused and constantly sat on her legs in the house.
"It was disgusting. I'm just so shocked it's been in waiting for so long," Kiram said. "I was a neighbour from the age of 13. I mentioned it to my mum because I could see it from my room. I made phone calls for social services, nothing was ever done."
The last time the family called them was in 2019.
Kiram claimed: "Social services failed her massively. She was diagnosed with global developmental delay. And obviously, a lot of other learning difficulties.
"You could tell that she was vulnerable. The hygiene was not there. It was like house of horrors. There were a few occasions where she'd come to the window. But that was years later."
She said that her family 'didn't think she was still there', claiming that the last time she properly saw the victim, she was still a child.

"Then after that, I think, first time we've seen her was then around 2016. And then after that, it was 2020 or 2021 but we were in lockdown," Kiram added.
This is when she saw her knocking on windows and waving, without saying anything.
Speaking about the victim now, the mum revealed: "The victim is thriving. She is doing really well. She's like a completely different person. She's better in herself. She's got the opportunity to learn things now. Nothing's gonna stop her from progressing the way she has done."
A former neighbour, who also lived next to the family while growing up, candidly said: “She can rot in hell. Good luck to her in prison is all I’ve got to say,
“She deserved it and I cannot wait for sentencing day.”
Speaking in court, the woman, who'd lost most of her teeth due to poor hygiene, said: “I don’t want to be here. I don’t feel safe. Mandy hits me all the time. I don’t like it. I haven’t washed for years. She doesn’t let me.”
