A man who described himself as 'serial killer', potentially murdering 70 people in his life, gave a message to Donald Trump just moments before his execution.
Glen Rogers, 62, had been on Death Row for nearly 30 years up until just yesterday (15 May), when he was given the lethal injection.
He was executed for the murder of two mums in separate incidents, but Rogers claimed that he killed around 70 people across the US in his lifetime.

The man was known as the 'Casanova Killer', and got his name from picking women up in bars, but going onto attack them later in the night.
For the murder of Tina Marie Cribbs in 1995, a mother of two he had met at a bar, he was convicted in Florida. Cribbs was 32 when she died.

He also received another death sentence in California for the 1995 strangulation of another mum, Sandra Gallagher, who had three children, which he also met in a bar.
These two killings happened just weeks apart.

In his final words before receiving the lethal injection, Rogers thanked his wife, who had visited him earlier on in the day.
He also issued a cryptic message, as he noted: "In the near future, your questions will be answered."
But even more bizarre than that, were his words for US President Donald Trump.

"President Trump, keep making America great. I’m ready to go," he said, just prior to his execution.

Moments later, the injection began, and Rogers laid still and quiet.
The whole process took just 16 minutes, and professionals made sure that the killer was no longer conscious.
His last meal was pizza, chocolate cake, and soda, which feels like a slightly underwhelming final meal - but whatever floats your boat.
Due to the repetitive nature of his heinous crimes, Rogers was featured in several documentaries, including My Brother the Serial Killer in 2012, which featured his brother Clay.
Rogers, who was 62 years old, is the fifth person to be executed in the state this year, and things don't seem to be slowing down.

To compare, just six individuals were executed in Florida for the entirety of 2023, but the governor last week signed yet another death warrant.
The next person to receive the death penalty in the state will be Anthony Wainwright, a 54-year-old man.
He was found guilty of the 1994 kidnap, rape, and murder, of Carmen Gayheart.
