A man has been sentenced to three years in prison after he admitted to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and the court heard he was an associate of Marius Gustavson, the notorious 'Eunuch Maker'.
79-year-old former vicar Geoffrey Baulcomb pleaded guilty earlier this year and received his sentence at the Old Bailey for an incident on 4 January, 2020, where a man's urethra was enlarged with scissors.
Baulcomb was caught on a video of the procedure and arrested in December 2022. He had previously admitted to distributing an indecent photo of a child in March 2020 and of making indecent images of children.

The court heard that the 79-year-old had been a subscriber to Gustavson's website and there had been thousands of messages between then from 2015 to 2022.
Police have found evidence linking him to other figures on the Gustavson case, and surgical tools, medical supplies, drugs, and a Burdizzo clamp were seized from his Eastbourne home in December 2022, during which time Baulcomb also tried to dispose of his phone in a toilet, though it was recovered and information was retrieved.

Judge Mark Lucraft KC told Baulcomb: "There are some aspects of the offending here that might suggest it is in the highest category.
"With any extreme body modification feature there has to be some planning. In my judgment this is a category A case. The procedure and resulting injury is something that is serious.

"It is an aggravating feature that the procedure was filmed, bearing in mind the obvious sexual nature of this offence."
The judge noted that the 79-year-old had no previous convictions, but said that when arrested, the man 'sought to distance yourself from what was done and downplay the significance of your offending' and 'sought to minimise the potential for harm of what you were doing'.
"The extreme pornographic images here are concerning," the judge said, sentencing Baulcomb to two years and six months for GBH and a further six months for seven offences he admitted to involving indecent images.

Matthew Gowen, mitigating, said that the victim of the body modification 'was very much the instigator of what happened' and had described the experience as 'a fun and very enjoyable night'.

Gowen said the procedure involved 'two small cuts' and the removal of no body parts, and that Baulcomb had done this to himself previously.
Marius Gustavson, the 'Eunuch Maker', ran a website in which he showed videos of him castrating men to paying subscribers, with his site thought to have amassed over 22,000 users.
When police raided Gustavson's home, they found human body parts, including his own, along with 'clear evidence of cannibalism'.
Last year, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 22 years behind bars. During his sentencing, he was described a 'lunatic', an 'arch-manipulator', and 'a butcher'.
