Elon Musk labels Mark Zuckerberg a 'cuck' ahead of cage fight

The trash talking isn't slowing down anytime soon.

What do you get when you pit two tech billionaires against each other?

A war of words and a potential cage fight, apparently.

In the latest development in the Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg beef, Musk has labelled Zuckerberg a 'cuck'.

Over the weekend, Musk replied 'Zuck is a cuck' to screenshots of Zuckerberg laughing at burger chain Wendy's telling him to go into space to 'really make Musk mad'.

This is just the latest back and forth between the tech moguls.

On June 20, Musk tweeted that he 'would be up for a cage fight' if Zuckerberg was and the Meta boss responded "send me the location".

Zuckerberg also broke his decade-long Twitter silence by tweeting a Spider-Man meme to announce the launch of Threads.

Threads, Meta's rival to Twitter, launched last Thursday, with 30 million people joining the social media app within the first 24 hours.

The same day, Musk threaten to sue Meta over what he claims is a "copy-cat app".

"Twitter has serious concerns that Meta Platforms has engaged in systematic, willful, and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter's trade secrets and other intellectual property," Twitter lawyer Alex Spiro wrote in a 'cease-and-desist' letter released last Thursday.

"Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information."

Musk then tweeted about his new rival on Saturday.

"Threads is just Instagram minus pics, which makes no sense, given that thirst pics are the main reason people use that app. How many times have you read comments on Insta pics & wished there were more? Personally, never," he wrote.

Musk bought Twitter in October last year for $44 billion. In the months since, he has cut staff and limited the amount of messages people can see on the platform.

These moves led to Twitter's value plummeting, with Fidelity recently estimating Twitter is worth just one-third of what Musk paid.

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg seems to be enjoying taunting Musk, and has been replying to Threads with the word "Concerning", which is one of Musk's trademark comments on Twitter.
