Elon Musk slams 4-hour ‘hit piece’ doc which claims he is creating 'legion of children for civil war'
Elon Musk has taken to X to slam a new documentary, threatening to sue the creators for what he called a ‘hit piece’ against him.
The documentary, titled Musk, has led to a number of headlines after former MAGA influencer and mother of his 13th child Ashley St Clair revealed she had turned down $40 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement from the billionaire.
She turned this down so she could speak out about their child Romulus, and appears in the documentary to reveal that Musk told her is creating a ‘legion of children’ to prepare for an upcoming civil war.
Musk was created by Alex Gibney, an American documentary filmmaker who is widely agreed to be amongst the most influential of the modern era. With previous docs on Elizabeth Holmes, Scientology, and US military torture practices in the Middle East, Gibney announced in 2023 his next big project would centre on the former Tesla CEO.

Musk has 14 children known to the public with four different women, with names ranging from Romulus to Techno Mechanicus, Exa Dark Sideræl, and his viral unpronounceable child’s name X Æ A-12.
Justine Musk, his first wife, also claims in the doc that he referred to his wives as ‘breeders’, crying in the documentary about the death of their first child Nevada. Nevada died of sudden infant death syndrome in 2002 shortly after he was born.
In the documentary, per Variety, she claims ‘she knows gaslighting from Musk’ as she alleges he lied on X about holding their baby in his arms when he died, claiming it was actually her.
She added that, during their first dance, Elon Musk told her that he was the ‘alpha in their relationship’.
Musk called the film a ‘hit piece’ in a series of fiery tweets
In a series of tweets Musk called Gibney a ‘horrible human’ and called the nearly four hour film a ‘hit piece’ against him.
The New York Post have also cited a legal letter in which Musk appears to be threatening to sue Gibney if the doc is published over claims Musk used his Starlink satellites to influence the 2024 U.S. election in Donald Trump’s favour.
It stated: “You are … on notice, before release, that the insinuation is false, that the material refuting it is public, and that you chose not to be told the rest.”
Musk does not appear in the doc but Gibney has used an AI version of his voice to read out real quotes from the CEO.
