Dating can be absolutely terrifying at the best of times… so why not go on a blind date on national television! First Dates Ireland is currently looking for singletons to feature in their upcoming new series and want you or a single person you may know to apply.

The show has been a roaring success since it launched in 2016 and is a firm favourite in many Irish households. The show has a crack team of expert matchmakers who know a thing or two about romance and are currently hard at work on the new series and waiting to hear from you!

The requirements are very simple, be between the ages of 18 and 80 and also well…be single. The show welcomes people of all ages, genders and sexualities who are taking a shot at love.

They have found that men are a little slow to reply so why not convince that mate, brother, colleague or cousin to apply? The show has created countless perfect matches and for those who don’t find love, they get a fun evening and a great story to tell at the dinner table.

First Dates is filmed in the gorgeous Coda Eatery at The Gibson Hotel where the camera is so unobtrusive that you forget they are even there. Fans of the show will know the amazing staff on hand who keep things running smoothly from the maître D' Mateo Saina, and barman Neil Kenna to the waiters Alice and Pete.
