Online search trends will tell us that thousands of people are hitting the www to find out how to cook new things.

Whether it's banana bread, sourdough, a frittata or any myriad of other things you could whip up in your kitchen, self-isolation has caused many to explore new recipes.

Well, Aldi Australia is helping people get into the spirit by selling *that* thermo cooker machine that's a fraction of the price of its competitors.

It went on sale last year under the company's Special Buys program and they were snapped up in an instant.

Loads of people took to social media to praise it, saying it was just as good as a Thermomix machine, which usually sell for upwards of $2,200.

Well, it appears Aldi is giving the people what they want and will be selling it again under the Special Buys program this weekend.

On Saturday, April 18, you'll be able to grab one for $299.

According to the website, this thermo cooker can blend, chop, crush ice, steam, stew, mix, knead and fry all the food you want to eat.

It comes with a 2.2L stainless steel bowl, a steamer, an integrated scale function and a chopping blade, mixing tool and recipe book.

Choice

When it first went on sale, people went nuts.

It was the same device that has been sold in Big W stores and shoppers were pleased to see it being flogged at Aldi.

One person said on a Facebook page: "I've had one for nearly 4 years. It's a mistral that ALDI are now selling. I purchased mine at Big W. It still works great. This one has more features so I think it looks great. If you can't afford a Thermomix, it will do nicely."

Another added: "This has the same functionalities. I use mine occasionally but glad I didn't fork out for a Thermomix."

So, if you've been looking for something to spice up your kitchen fantasies then you know what you need to get.
